When I was on break in Florida, I did the obligatory sunbathing despite warnings that the Sun ages your skin. The truth is, time ages your skin and the Sun helps the process along.
The fact that the Sun is 93 million miles away from Earth and can do anything is a miracle! It has the energy to provide gravity, life and energy in addition to aging our skin and frying our retinas!
My vantage point in Florida pastures where life abounds in every possible niche is always humbling. Even more humbling is watching the Discovery Channel and observing the dynamics of the Universe creating and destroying in an endless rhythm. To be an infinitesimal part of it all but still be able to observe it from a high awareness (thanks to astronomers and people of vision) is breathtaking.
I’m still trying to figure out how the scientists at NASA send commands to a probe (Juno) that is orbiting Jupiter? Who knew??
What we’re left with is the profound gratitude for “being.” This paradoxical feeling of small material being and unlimited universal awareness…wow!
