Many years ago I had migraine headaches that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. These came with spells of nausea and vomiting, light sensitivity and nuclear head explosions. I sought homeopathic treatment.
The theory of homeopathic healing is that our symptoms linger because they are “stuck” and need encouragement to go to completion. The fact that the symptoms recur, according to that philosophy, is that they need a push. The push comes from introducing natural substances, highly diluted, that would cause the toxic symptoms in larger concentration.
Well, I don’t know what was given to me, but I had the mother of all migraines. I wretched and suffered and was like a limp rag when it was over.
After this treatment, I never again had a migraine headache, or any other headache for that matter.
What we are experiencing as a society is a healing crisis. Mr. Trump is the homeopathic remedy. All the corruption and biases that were skillfully hidden are now flushed out for all of us to experience. As awful as this is in the moment, like my last horrendous migraine, there may be calm waters beyond.
If we stop mid-process, the illness will once again go underground only to return and plague our consciousness. It will reappear as win-lose, might and money make right. Rather than to hate the remedy, we can be grateful that the illness is exposed and rise to the awareness that creates peace on the other side.
